On May 4, 2011, Icahn Enterprises L.P. issued a press release reporting its financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2011. The press release also provides information for accessing its quarterly conference call and Webcast, which will be held on May 5, 2011. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

Icahn Enterprises L.P. Reports First Quarter Financial Results
and Announces Quarterly Distribution
New York, NY - Icahn Enterprises L.P. (NYSE: IEP) reported revenues of $3,104 million for the three months ended March 31, 2011, as compared to $1,915 million for the three months ended March 31, 2010. Net income attributable to Icahn Enterprises was $240 million for the three months ended March 31, 2011, or $2.68 per LP unit, compared to a net loss attributable to Icahn Enterprises of $65 million, or $(0.80) per LP unit, for the comparable period in 2010.
Icahn Enterprises will increase its quarterly distribution for the second quarter of 2011 to an aggregate of $0.50 per depositary unit, comprised of a combination of $0.10 payable in cash and $0.40 payable in depositary units. The distribution will be paid on May 31, 2011 to depositary unit holders of record at the close of business on May 16, 2011.1
